Ours at the World Series of Poker: Olga Ermolcheva stopped a few steps away from the WSOP bracelet

The best Ukrainian poker player Olga Ermolcheva successfully performed in the WSOP event #85: $1,500 Shootout. 987 players entered this tournament, generating a prize pool of $1,317,645. The Ukrainian not only reached the final table, but also fought for the championship.

At the beginning of the final table, Olga managed to take a decent part of the stack from the Brazilian Yuri Dzivilevskiy. Later, Ermolcheva knocked out Adam Friedman in 8th place. The Ukrainian ended up in 3-max, where she lost the nomination to the future champion Faraz Jaka A8 in TT.

As a result, the Ukrainian poker player took 3rd place, receiving $109,780 in prize money. She was a little short of updating her best cache, which has been holding since 2015. At the WSOP-2023, Olga Ermolcheva showed a brilliant game, landing 6 ITMs for a total prize pool of over $150,000. Also in Las Vegas, the Ukrainian won the Ladies Championship last month, earning another $14,350.
