Hong Kong-based Century Entertainment is preparing to make a major move into the Cambodian gaming market by signing an agreement to operate a VIP gaming room at the Dara Sakor resort. This strategic move cancels the previous agreement with the company's own Chairman and CEO, opening new prospects for the development of in-demand services in Cambodia.
VIP Table Management: New Agreement and Partnership
In a strategic decision, Century Entertainment is entering into a direct partnership with the Cambodian owner of the Dara Sakor casino, according to local news reports. As part of the new agreement, Century Entertainment subsidiary Wisdom Ocean Group will take over the management of the resort's seven VIP gaming tables for three years.
Terms of agreement and financial aspects
Under the terms of the agreement, Wisdom Ocean Group will pay a monthly fee of $35,000 to the owner of LongBay Entertainment, providing full management and ensuring the stable operation of the VIP gaming tables. Details of the deal include Century Entertainment retaining 100% of winnings and covering all losses, as well as being responsible for personnel costs.
Plans and prospects for a casino in Dara Sakora
Dara Sakor, located in Cambodia, is a resort complex with a variety of entertainment options. As part of the new partnership, the casino plans to offer its guests approximately 40 mass gaming tables, 55 VIP tables and 80 slot machines, as well as a Chinese restaurant, spa and nightclub, promising an extensive and exciting gaming experience.
Previous steps and current plans of Century Entertainment
Century Entertainment, according to previous reports, is looking to expand its business interests in the region. The relocation of its gaming table business from Sihanoukville to Dara Sakor was scheduled for February, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening date was pushed back to March, reflecting the company's commitment to reliability and precision in planning.
