IGT Renews Contract with Mississippi Lottery: New Amenities and Innovations

IGT's subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, will continue to provide online gaming systems and instant ticket services until December 1, 2029. Expansion of cooperation includes the introduction of a convenient mobile application, 28 new self-service terminals and the Sales Wizard retail automation tool.

Jeff Hewitt, President of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, expressed satisfaction with the renewal of the partnership with IGT:

“When we launched the Mississippi Lottery in 2019, we relied on IGT's expertise to help us increase player engagement in our drawing and instant ticket games and realize our growth goals. After nearly five very successful years, we continue to work with IGT to improve our operations and provide quality entertainment to our players.”

Hewitt also emphasized the importance of introducing new IGT products to improve the player experience and using the Sales Wizard tool to identify additional opportunities in lottery retail.

The contract extension includes the introduction of the following innovations:

- Mobile application: A convenient application that will facilitate the process of participating in lotteries and purchasing tickets.

- Self-service terminals: 28 new terminals allowing players to independently purchase tickets and check winnings.

- Sales Wizard: A retail automation tool that provides useful information to optimize sales and identify new opportunities in the market.

The expansion of the contract with the Mississippi Lottery is not the only news from IGT. Earlier this month, the company entered into a five-year agreement with Atlantic Lottery in Canadian markets. This partnership includes the delivery of a variety of content such as player engagement tools and instant games.

The contract extension between IGT and the Mississippi Lottery demonstrates a fruitful partnership and aims to further improve the user experience and efficiency of lottery operations.
