PAGCOR Chairman Reveals Online Casino Launch Details During Keynote Speech

PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengko recently unveiled plans for the upcoming launch of Casino.Filipino.com. Tengco discussed the features of the online casino and its technology based on virtual reality during the opening ceremony of the SiGMA Asia International Summit in Manila.

Tengko said in his address, "It transcends physical boundaries, reaches a global audience, and establishes a presence in virtual communities of gamers."
He described the company's latest project as "an opportunity to expand into new markets and diversify its customer base."
He added that the online casino "will bring a number of benefits and opportunities, such as increased revenue, increased reach and market expansion, cost efficiency and increased customer engagement."
Tengco also stressed the need for further regulation and oversight, saying that the pursuit of global expansion "has a price."
Both Tengco and SiGMA Group founder Eman Pulis attended the first SiGMA Asia event and its opening. This year's gathering kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila on the SiGMA Stage.
The launch of Casino.Filipino.com is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024 and will host PAGCOR's online gaming operations.
PAGCOR acts as both a game operator and a regulator.
