The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) is preparing to open the application process for event betting licenses, marking a new phase in the region's gaming development.
Created by the Arizona Legislature in 1995, ADG became the state's regulatory agency responsible for various aspects of gaming, including tribal gaming, horse racing, event betting and non-gun sports.
Application Window
The application window for event betting licenses will open on July 8, 2024 and will be open until July 19, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Interested applicants will be required to submit completed applications within this period for consideration.
ADG will evaluate all entries in accordance with the established criteria governing statewide event betting. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the materials on the ADG website to fully understand the application process and associated requirements.
