PokerOrg, the official media partner of the WSOP Circuit Tour, has announced that it will be covering live poker news at World Series of Poker (WSOP) stops for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP, said: “The poker 2.0 boom is in full swing and we are proud that the WSOP Circuit has grown into the most popular tournament series in the world.
“We have heard our players loud and clear and they want more and better coverage of the WSOP Circuit. We are thrilled that PokerOrg has made the commitment to become the primary media partner for the WSOP Circuit."
The WSOP Circuit previously featured coverage from PokerNews, a news organization owned by PokerStars, but the tour is now running without a media partner after PokerNews stopped covering tournaments in 2020.
Starting at Choctaw Durant in Oklahoma from July 17-30, the WSOP Circuit season will move to Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina from August 3-14, culminating in the WSOP Series in Las Vegas next summer.
Eric Hollreiser, CEO of PokerOrg, said: “The WSOP Circuit players have been out of the media for too long and PokerOrg is looking to bring a new approach to live poker tournament coverage.
"Our player-centric style of social media reporting will give players, venues and the WSOP plenty of opportunity to showcase the skills, talents and personalities that make poker the most popular mind sport in the world."
