Multi-year Contract
International Game Technology (IGT), through its subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation, announced a five-year contract with Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles (ONCE) to supply instant ticket games. This contract, which will run until 2029, will see IGT print some of the new instant tickets for ONCE, thereby expanding its gaming product offering in the Spanish market.
Francisco José Martínez Palao, Director of Operations and Logistics at ONCE, expressed confidence in the success of this collaboration:
"ONCE is constantly looking for ways to improve our instant ticket portfolio, which is one of the reasons we wanted to bring IGT's diverse gaming content back to our lineup. IGT's industry-leading products have contributed to ONCE's success for over 20 years, and we believe that a wide range of IGT's selection of instant ticket games will allow us to continue to provide players with a first-class experience."
Development for IGT
Jay Gendron, IGT's Chief Operating Officer for Lotteries, noted the importance of continuing to work with ONCE:
"IGT is pleased to once again print instant tickets for ONCE lottery players. As a long-standing and trusted service provider of ONCE's central lottery system and software, IGT looks forward to expanding its lottery portfolio in Spain to include new and exciting instant ticket themes."
This year has been a busy one for IGT. At the end of June, the company received a new contract for the VLT system from the Ohio Lottery Commission. The contract, which will be valid from May 31, 2024 to June 30, 2033, provides for the possibility of extending the agreement for two more one-year terms.
New Digital Offers
Yesterday, IGT also announced the expansion of its digital offerings, adding Prosperity Link to its growing library of iGaming content in the US. This expansion demonstrates the company's commitment to improving and increasing the diversity of its content to attract and retain players across multiple jurisdictions.
The partnership with ONCE is an important step for IGT, allowing the company to strengthen its position in the Spanish market and demonstrate its capabilities in the instant ticketing sector. The collaboration promises to improve the gaming experience for users and further develop the lottery industry in Spain.
