Spintec, a Slovenian developer and manufacturer of electronic board games, has partnered with Konami Australia, a subsidiary of Konami Group Corporation.
As a developer and manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems, Konami Australia has signed a distribution rights agreement for Spintec's products in Australia and New Zealand.
Goran Mishkulin, CEO of Spintec, said: “After investing in the certification of our ETG devices, I am delighted that we have found the perfect partner to sell to the Australian market.
“This achievement marks an important milestone for our business as it not only confirms the quality of our products, but also opens up new opportunities for growth and expansion in a promising market like Australia.”
In the first phase of the distribution agreement, Konami will supply products from Spintec via the X-Series protocol.
Clubs and gaming halls in New South Wales will also be the first to receive products, with more expansion expected in Australian markets in the future.
Spintec will eventually certify its SAS Protocol products for other Australian states, including roulette, sic-bo, baccarat and blackjack tables.
Gerard Crosby, General Manager of Product Development, Director, Officer and Secretary of Konami Australia, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Spintec.
“Their electronic board games are considered some of the best in the world and have huge potential in Australia.
“We are confident that we can help Spintec realize its sales ambitions in this market.”
This year has proved to be a busy one for the Slovenian electronic game developer as Spintec expanded into the Monheim Casino with Merkur Gaming, with a total of 44 units.
