Many celebrities are known for their passion for gambling. Actors, singers, and social media influencers often place bets at casinos to enjoy the thrill of it. While some proudly talk about their big wins, others prefer to keep their casino visits private.

Recently, during a visit to Las Vegas, American singer and rapper Machine Gun Kelly, also known as MGK, admitted to losing a large sum of money at a casino. The star visited the city to take part in a surprise performance with Jelly Roll. The two artists recently released a joint single, "Lonely Road", inspired by the work of John Denver.

During Jelly Roll's set at Allegiant Stadium, MGK joined him on stage to perform his new song "Lonely Road." During the show, MGK made a surprising confession: he had lost $50,000 playing blackjack. "I lost $50,000 at the blackjack table tonight. I need you all to come listen to 'Lonely Road' so I can make it back," the singer joked to the crowd. He added, "I love you all, thank you Jelly for having me."

Jelly Roll responded with gratitude and urged the crowd to give a shoutout to one of his best friends, MGK. "Thank you for coming," he said as he escorted MGK off stage.

MGK did not specify which casino his losing streak occurred at. It is unclear whether he is a regular blackjack player or if this was a one-time "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" adventure.

MGK's incident is hard to compare to the recent losses of another famous rapper, Drake. Last month, Drake lost $1 million due to unsuccessful bets on the Stanley Cup Finals and NBA games, which once again confirmed the existence of the so-called "Drake curse".

It is worth noting that news of big casino losses among celebrities appears quite often. For example, rapper Nelly was recently reported to have been detained at a casino in Missouri while trying to collect winnings at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel in St. Louis. According to rumors, Nelly was in possession of illegal substances, which led to his arrest.

MGK's story about losing $50,000 is just one of many similar stories related to gambling and the world of celebrities.
