Marina Bay Sands and Scuderia Ferrari agree partnership with F1

Marina Bay Sands has signed an agreement with the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One (F1) racing team that will take part in the Formula 1 race in Singapore on 17 September.
The casino resort that dominates Singapore's skyline is the epitome of luxury, so the deal didn't come as a surprise to many as the F1 season kicks off in the Southeast Asian nation in mid-September.
As part of the deal, a replica of the SF90 Ferrari F1 car raced in 2019 will be on display in the lobby of Hotel Tower 1 from September 11 to 18.
Paul Towne, COO of Marina Bay Sands, said of the deal: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with the Scuderia Ferrari brand, the most successful F1 team in history. This collaboration brings together two iconic brands focused on our shared pursuit of excellence.
“We look forward to offering an exciting activation that will immerse our visitors in the excitement of this great partnership during the upcoming night race in Singapore.”

In other F1 gambling related news, the city will host the first Formula 1 race in Las Vegas on November 19th.
However, the event has already generated some controversy: F1 is said to be collecting fees and planning barricades to block the view of the event to those who haven't paid to be there, including restaurants and clubs.
