In an effort to strengthen its position in Latin America, Stake continues to expand, having recently launched operations in Colombia and is now actively expanding into the Peruvian market. The company has appointed former Inkabet CEO Jennifer Escobar as its new CEO in Peru and has already secured a license to operate in the country.

Peru is the Next Growth Target for Stake.com

Jennifer Escobar is a seasoned industry professional, having previously held senior positions at BoyleSports. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the local market make her the perfect candidate to lead Stake’s operations in Peru.

She has spent most of her career at Inkabet, where she worked from November 2015 until June 2022. In her new role, Escobar will be helping to transform the operator within the Peruvian iGaming market. She emphasized:

“The Peruvian market has significant potential for growth and we look forward to further engagement with the region. I am excited to continue to contribute to the dynamic development of the Peruvian gaming industry and drive innovation in this rapidly growing sector.”

Stake.com is actively expanding in iGaming and sports betting across Latin America, with a particular focus on local markets.

In addition to its recent entry into Colombia, the company has also entered into deals in Mexico and Paraguay. In Colombia, Stake acquired the operations of Betfair, allowing it to quickly establish itself in the local market.

Stake and the Global Interest in Peru

Stake has invested $800,000 in obtaining a gaming license in Peru, highlighting its commitment to growth in the region. Importantly, Stake is not alone in seeing potential in this market. Companies such as Betsson Group have acquired Inkabet to further strengthen their position in Peru.

Many international companies are also looking to expand in Peru, including Rush Street Interactive and EveryMatrix, which see Peru as an important stepping stone in their development in Latin America.

Stake aims to turn its brand into a global success story by continuing its aggressive expansion into promising markets. In particular, Italy is also of significant interest to the company, despite expected changes in local legislation that will come into effect in 2025.
