Nicknamed "VP of Partying," Koechner stars in a multi-channel ad campaign for two casinos owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Caesars Entertainment operates the resorts on behalf of the tribe.

This week, San Diego-based ad agency 62Above told Casino.org that Koechner has become the new celebrity spokesperson for tribal casinos. The campaign casts the comedian as "Party Vice President," a comical, apparently fictional casino employee whose primary responsibility is to make sure guests can relax while staying at hotels located in the rural southwestern part of Tar Heel. State.

62Above Creative Director Eric Dargitz explained that the campaign is based on Harrah's Cherokee Casinos "Put Your Hat to the Party" campaign, which has "become part of the ethos" at tribal resorts.

'The Office' star is ready to party
Koechner has appeared in over 120 films and television shows. His best-known roles are the fictional Todd Packer in The Office and Champ King in the film Anchorman.

In his latest role as "VP of Partying," Koechner's character introduces viewers to all that Harrah's Cherokee casinos have to offer. Koechner showcases casino floors, numerous restaurants, bars, nightclubs and other entertainment. Harrah's Cherokee Casinos consist of Harrah's Cherokee in Cherokee and Harrah's Cherokee Valley River in Murphy.

The television commercial begins with Koechner seated at a table with a nameplate reading "Party Vice President". Starting Wednesday, August 2, Harrah's Cherokee guests will have the opportunity to take social media photos at the table and use the same props as Koechner, including a party hat, disco ball, and "World's Best Party" mug.

“With the help of eccentric props…and against the backdrop of a casino, guests will be able to promote themselves to VP of Parties,” 62Above said in a release.

"We're delighted to have David Koechner as the face of our new campaign, which includes TV, print ads and digital content that encourages visitors to our two hotels to have a good time," said Brian Saunoke, regional vice president of marketing for Harrah's Cherokee. Casino. "His cheerful personality and sense of humor are a perfect match for the vibrant and exciting atmosphere that guests will experience with us."

The integrated campaign runs across all media channels, including television, digital channels, social media, and billboards in North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
