Apple iSports Australia announces plans to acquire 45% stake in The Leg Up Australia

Apple iSports Australia (AiS), the digital sports betting subsidiary of Prevention Insurance.com, has signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire a 45% stake in media company The Leg Up Australia (TLU).

As part of the announcement, AiS will make an initial A$75,000 ($50,000) transaction to TLU.

In addition, TLU will also receive marketing support from AiS, including a new advertising campaign that was launched in the last week of July 2023.

Blake Johnston, Operations Manager for The Leg Up Australia said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Apple iSports as we work together to grow the tipping business in Australia and beyond.

"We have a very long experience in the racing industry and we believe that our experience and knowledge will greatly benefit the group."

The established betting, streaming and media operations from TLU will be used when AiS launches its bookmaker in Australia.

Across all social media platforms, TLU currently has around 100,000 active users, as well as podcast subscriptions and tips.
