One of the leading providers of solutions for casino operators, Evolution, which offers live casino, gameshows and slots, has expanded its presence on the Isle of Man. This was made possible by a new software provider licence issued by the local authority.

The process of obtaining the licence was carried out with the active support of SolutionsHub, a consultancy company that specialises in facilitating the development of electronic gaming businesses on the Isle of Man. The company helps to simplify the licensing, compliance and organisational issues for its clients.

With this partnership, Evolution can now provide its innovative and compliant solutions to licensed operators on the Isle of Man, a self-governing territory of the United Kingdom in the Irish Sea.

Growing interest from software developers

In recent years, interest in the Isle of Man jurisdiction, which is becoming an important hub for online gaming due to its legislative framework, has steadily increased. Obtaining a license was an important step for Evolution in expanding its presence in the region.

James O’Kelly, Head of Operations at SolutionsHub, noted that more and more software providers are seeking to obtain a license on the Isle of Man. They understand that this strengthens their reputation as a reliable partner for gambling operators.

The licensing process was also supported by Digital Isle of Man, which is part of the Isle of Man Government’s Department of Enterprise. The Gambling Control Commission on the island, which was established in 1962, also played a major role in the successful completion of the procedure.

Tara Lenehan, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Digital Isle of Man, expressed delight that Evolution had successfully completed the licensing process. She noted that attracting such large companies confirms the attractiveness of licensing on the Isle of Man.

Continued growth of the company

In July, Evolution announced its intention to acquire casino table games provider Galaxy Gaming for $85 million. The deal, pending regulatory approval, will help the company strengthen its position in the US market. The deal is expected to close in mid-2025.

In addition to the acquisition, the company is also continuing to expand its presence in the US market. In early July, it launched live casino games in Delaware in partnership with BetRivers.

The acquisition of a new license on the Isle of Man confirms Evolution's commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
