ACR Poker, one of the leading online poker platforms founded in 2001 and serving players from the United States, Canada, Latin America and beyond, has announced a packed schedule for October. The platform, formerly known as Americas Cardroom, will launch the Venom Warmup on October 1st, with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, as a preliminary to two major tournaments starting on October 13th.

Warmup: $1 Million Prize

On October 1st, poker fans will have the opportunity to participate in the Warmup, a tournament with a $1 million guarantee. With a small buy-in of just $66, it will be one of the most valuable tournaments, as noted by poker pro Chris Moneymaker.

Players will also be able to enter via satellites, giving them access to the tournament at an even lower cost. This format is perfect for those looking to turn a small investment into a big win.

The tournament will be played in a Day 1 format, with no fewer than 258 different starting fields running daily until October 27th. Players will be able to select multiple starting days and combine their chips for Day 2, which is scheduled for October 27th at 4:05 PM ET. The final table will be held on October 28th at 2:05 PM.

A Double Whammy in October

ACR Poker’s website states, “We’re launching two major Venom PKO tournaments at the same time. Get ready for some serious poker action.”

First up is the $5 million guaranteed NLH PKO Venom, which will run alongside the debut of the $1.5 million guaranteed PLO PKO Venom. Each tournament will offer five starting options, with NLH running for four days and PLO for three days.

In addition to the Warmup, players will be able to participate in Venom Fever satellites, which will award hundreds of $2,650 seats to NLH PKO and PLO PKO tournaments starting October 13.

The tournaments will also feature Venom Specials on each day, with total guarantees of over $11 million and buy-ins ranging from $16.50 to $1,050. Players will be able to compete for 644 guaranteed NLH PKO Venom seats and 71 guaranteed PLO PKO Venom seats via Beast Satellites, Venom Madness Satellites, and more.

Chris Moneymaker also noted that players have until September 30th to participate in a competition with over $40 million in total guarantees and a $60,000 leaderboard prize pool as part of the OSS XL, which followed the $5 million guaranteed Supersized Poker Tourney in August.
