October is shaping up to be an exciting month for poker fans, with two major Venom tournaments hosted by ACR Poker. These tournaments include a $5 million NLH PKO and a $1.5 million PLO PKO. The first day of the tournaments kicks off on October 13, which could be a lucky day for many players.

To make it easier to get into the tournaments, ACR Poker has launched the Venom Fever promotion, which offers 715 guaranteed seats, each worth $2,650. This is a great chance for players who are not ready to spend a large amount of money on a buy-in.

715 Seats to Win

The Venom Fever promotion runs from October 6th to 27th and features a series of satellites offering 715 seats to the tournaments. According to legendary player Chris Moneymaker, who won the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event after qualifying through an online platform, this is a unique opportunity for players. He noted that players can start from scratch through various satellites.

644 Seats for the NLH PKO Venom tournament

There are 644 guaranteed seats for the NLH PKO Venom tournament through tournaments such as Venom Madness, The Beast, Mega Satellites, and Direct Satellites. The Beast tournaments will run each week on October 6th, 13th, and 20th, starting at 6:05 p.m. ET. There are 85 seats up for grabs: 25 for the first tournament, 30 for the second, and 30 for the third.

Winners on October 6 will automatically receive a seat to Day 1A of the $5 million NLH PKO, winners on October 13 will receive a seat to Day 1C, and winners on October 20 will receive a seat to Day 1E. There are also daily Direct Satellites with 307 guaranteed seats starting at $33, and Mega Satellites with 232 seats where qualification can start at $0.

71 Seats for the PLO PKO Venom

Poker fans can also take part in the PLO PKO Venom, which offers 71 guaranteed seats. Daily Direct Satellites start at $290, and Mega Satellites offer 30 seats with the ability to qualify for free.

While the Dual Venom PKO tournaments are the highlight of October, Moneymaker emphasized that players will also be able to enjoy a variety of other events as part of the Venom Special, with a total prize pool of over $11 million.

Those looking to prepare for the main events can try their hand at the $1 million guaranteed Venom Warmup tournament, which runs from October 1-27, with buy-ins starting at $66.
