Fanatics Betting and Gaming, a division of Fanatics Holdings, Inc. , an online and retail sports betting company, officially launched the Fanatics Sportsbook app in Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Fanatics Sportsbook App Introduces Dynamic Features for Avid Sports FansThe Fanatics Sportsbook app introduces a host of features designed for avid sports fans. The app boasts streamlined registration procedures, streamlined betting processes, and transparent withdrawals. A key feature is the intuitive search function, allowing users to quickly find bets.
In an effort to improve the user experience, the app shows live scores, lines and odds for a variety of sporting events. From moneyline and spread betting to over-under betting and player details, the Fanatics Sportsbook app aims to satisfy any sports bettor.
Scot McClintic, Director of Product at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, emphasized the company's commitment to customer satisfaction: "We are focused on solving the challenges customers face by offering a faster, easier and more rewarding sports betting experience." McClintic also highlighted the company's strategic approach to building a product that changes customer expectations of what a bookmaker should offer.
An important aspect of the attractiveness of the Fanatics bookmaker is the integration of FanCash, a sports currency. FanCash is the cornerstone of the Fanatics loyalty program, offering users access to exclusive features. FanCash can be converted into bonus bets and can even be used to purchase team merchandise on Fanatics.com. The Loyalty Program encourages participation by offering FanCash rewards based on the type of bet placed: 5% on bets on the same parlay bet (SGP), 3% on multiple bets and 1% on direct bets.
Integration with PointsBet expands the technical capabilities of the Fanatics bookmakerFanatics Betting and Gaming's recent acquisition of US-based PointsBet and its proprietary Banach Technology has further enhanced Fanatics Sportsbook. By integrating PointsBet technology, the sports betting system gains the introduction of sophisticated trading models and risk assessment tools, paving the way for a dynamic and flexible platform.
Through a deal with PointsBet, Fanatics Sportsbook is also moving towards a New York sports betting license. The New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) recently discussed the implications of the acquisition, with Fanatics filing in the spring and subsequently going through a rigorous review to determine its suitability to operate under the license.
While the NYSGC decision is expected in September, Fanatics' implementation of the PointsBet technology should make the transition easier for players. However, Fanatics Sportsbook's full launch in New York may take until early spring 2024. Fanatics is also rumored to enter the Arizona market as the Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) prepares to grant three additional sports betting licenses, thereby expanding the state's sports gambling sector.
