Sheth came out on top in the £550 GUKPT Midi Main Event and topped his bankroll with a £48,550 grand prize.

Sheth is a male in form. Less than two weeks ago, Sheth went through most of the 910 players in the main event of the WSOP Super Circuit £3,300 No Limit Hold'em in London. His impressive streak ended with a fourth-place finish, earning him a career-high of £140,000. Sheth remembered August, and it wasn't over yet.

2023 GUKPT London Midi Main Event Final Table Results

Approximately 369 players entered the GUKPT London Midi Main Event at The Vic, generating a prize pool of £184,500 as a result. The 34 top-placed players took over a portion of that pot, and there were many well-known grinders among those players.

Lorenz Bochi was one of the first players to receive the money. The likes of Michael Howard, Colin Gillon, James Williams and Martins Adenia have joined Boci at the pay counter.

Each of the finalists was guaranteed at least £3,190, the amount that Ivan Jones received when he lost his stack in ninth place. Five of Jones' last six live tournament wins are GUKPT related, so make sure his name doesn't appear on PokerNews again before this festival is over.

Karim Louis finished eighth, earning £3,800, less than three weeks after he racked up £13,000 in the £450 Colossus event at the WSOP Super Circuit London.

2022 Leeds GUKPT champion Chris Johnson was eliminated in seventh for £4,600, while Brandon Shales was eliminated in sixth, adding £6,020 to his bankroll. £8,300, the last four-figure prize awarded in this tournament, went to Callum Gordon, Gordon's second-highest live catch.

Harry Bush has recorded live winnings since 1999 and regularly competes in various Grosvenor tournaments around the country. Bush failed to finish in fourth place, earning £12,400.

Jamie Dwan, who has nothing to do with high-stakes cash game guru Tom "durrrr" Dwan, took home a third-place prize of £19,660. Earlier this year, Dwan won the £440 Mystery Bounty at the GUKPT in Manchester and took home £16,920 for his efforts.

After relegation, Dwan Sheth was left face to face with Arian Hasankashani. Despite a difference in payments of £16,000, no deal went through. This means Hasankashani got £32,230 when he fell at the final hurdle, leaving Sheth to take home the top prize of £48,550. It was another solid performance by Hasankashani who is making money. In April, he finished runner-up in the £444 buy-in event at 888poker LIVE London for £28,140, before claiming £43,800 after winning the GUKPT Edinburgh High Roller for £1,500 in May.

However, the night belonged to Sheth, who won over $250,000 in 2023.
