Adin Ross, one of the most influential gambling streamers, is considering broadcasting an interview with none other than Kim Jong-un, leader of North Korea. While just an idea for now, the North Korean stream was suggested by Kick co-founder Eddie Craven himself.
Kick is a fast-growing Twitch competitor that boasts higher salaries, a freer platform, and a completely different strategy. In an effort to reach out to all content creators who have been hurt by their Amazon-owned rival, Kick has since become a haven for gambling content streamers.
Adin Ross was one of the most influential slot streamers on Twitch. However, disagreements in the chat led to his forced departure from the platform. In early 2023, Ross signed with Kick, returning to content production on a regular basis.
Over the past few months with Kick, Ross has commented on his situation, talking about his addiction to alcohol and thinness, as well as stating that he had been repeatedly beaten. However, one of the most curious developments is Craven's offer to broadcast Ross from North Korea.
Craven wants to showcase the North Koreans' peaceDuring one of Adin Ross's recent broadcasts, he discussed with Craven the idea of doing a live broadcast in North Korea. The latter said he was very interested in giving the North Korean people the opportunity to “showcase their peace.”
Ross jokingly responded that "maybe he was born here to solve world peace" and said he would do so. The content creator then approached the North Korean leader himself and said that he would be happy to go with him to the presentation and interview him in person.
Kim Jong-un, I would like to come to North Korea, I would like to set foot in your country. I would like to go with you to a beautiful launch. Mr. Kim Jong, I would like to interview you, okay? Adin Ross, professional streamer
It is unknown how seriously Ross and Craven take this interview. Even if they are, the likelihood of such a stream or interview is close to zero. However, a visit to North Korea is not out of the question, so perhaps Ross will set foot in the country one day and share his impressions with his fans upon his return.
Among other Kick-related news, the platform recently signed a major partnership deal with Everton Football Club. Under the agreement, the streaming service logo will be placed on the sleeves of the athletes' jerseys.
