Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - Tammy Wong, a resident of Moose Jaw, experienced a moment of disbelief when she realized she had won $100,000 on an Extra draw of Lotto 6/49 that took place on August 19. Wong was taking some time for herself and decided to check a couple of lottery tickets, but when she first looked at her winning ticket, she only saw a $10 prize.

"I didn't have my glasses on," she chuckled. "I can't believe it - I really thought it was $10! I had to take a minute to count all the zeroes one by one."

Wong had purchased her winning ticket on the day of the draw from FranzMichel Lotto Sales, located at 500 1st Ave. NW in Moose Jaw. She checked the ticket using the Lotto Spot app the following day.

While Wong is still deciding how to use her newfound fortune, she plans to start by paying some bills. She emphasized that she wants to take her time making any significant decisions.

"I'm going to pay some bills to get started," she explained. "But I think mostly, I'm just going to try to relax and be happy every day."

As excitement grows, this Saturday's LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball jackpot is estimated at a staggering $62 million! Tickets are available until 8:30 pm CST on the evening of the draw at all Lotto Spot locations, Subscription Spot, and the Lotto Spot app.

It's worth noting that Sask Lotteries plays a crucial role in funding over 12,000 sports, cultural, and recreational groups in communities throughout Saskatchewan.
