In a grand spectacle that had everyone talking, BetMGM has officially launched its full operations in the United Kingdom with a star-studded advertising campaign featuring none other than US comedian Chris Rock.

This eye-catching commercial takes viewers on a journey from the iconic fountains of the Bellagio in Las Vegas to the majestic River Thames in London. But what truly steals the show is Chris Rock, who makes the voyage in a small boat accompanied by an unexpected companion – a lion! This bold choice of imagery is a nod to BetMGM's partnership with LeoVegas, and it's a sight to behold.

Sam Behar, the UK Director of BetMGM, expressed his excitement about this campaign, stating, "We are incredibly excited to launch BetMGM in the UK and give customers something new. This campaign leverages the heritage of MGM Resorts’ best-in-class Las Vegas entertainment to deliver a unique proposition to the UK market."

Behar continued, "Alongside standout promotions and our A-list ambassador Chris Rock, this campaign clearly demonstrates BetMGM’s commitment to bringing a fresh and entertaining approach to the market. It’s showtime."

Adding to the excitement, Dan Jacobs, Chief Creative Officer at Recipe, commented, "It's been a real privilege to support the launch of BetMGM in the UK. From minute one, the ambition from everyone was to stand out in the market. Chris Rock, in a gold boat, with a lion, in the Fountains of Bellagio does exactly that."

It's worth noting that BetMGM's UK launch comes without the involvement of one of its backers, Entain, as MGM Resorts has opted to utilize LeoVegas in-house instead. In response, Entain has stated, "We do not consider that this new launch will make any impact on our business or indeed the market."

This thrilling launch, complete with Chris Rock and a lion, has certainly set the stage for BetMGM's entry into the UK market.
