In a groundbreaking development in the world of gaming and entertainment, the eagerly anticipated Durango Casino & Resort, valued at a staggering $780 million, is set to open its doors on November 20th, just southwest of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. This colossal venture marks the first in a series of projects that could potentially double Station Casinos' presence in Southern Nevada by the year 2030.

The resort boasts an impressive 209 rooms and an 83,000-square-foot casino housing a wide array of the latest slot machines and table games, including high-limit options for those seeking a more exhilarating experience.

As visitors step into the lobby, they will be greeted by elegant stone floors and walls, bathed in natural light. The lobby seamlessly transitions into a bar area adorned with cozy nooks, comfortable sofas, and captivating art, creating an inviting space ideal for work, socializing, or relaxation.

David Horn, the Vice President and General Manager of Durango, described the resort as "Southern California cool" with a touch of Palm Springs and a distinctive desert vibe.

However, the pièce de résistance at Durango is the STN sportsbook, which incorporates the George Sportsmen's Lounge. This dynamic, 24-hour concept offers live entertainment, bar-top gaming, patio parties, full-service dining, and an extensive cocktail menu. Horn enthused, "It's going to be like nothing else that the city has seen. It's going to be very exciting. That's a very key energy point for us in the building."

Guests can enjoy watching sports on a massive 56-foot LED screen and 60 additional TVs, as well as partake in various outdoor games like cornhole and shuffleboard.

For the food enthusiasts, the Eat Your Heart Out Food Hall is a must-visit. Spanning 25,000 square feet, it features renowned eateries like Irv's Burgers from Los Angeles, Prince Street Pizza from New York, Fiorella by Marc Vetri from Philadelphia, and the Hawaiian Ai Pono Cafe.

Clique Hospitality will be overseeing the operations of Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, the Bel-Aire Lounge, and the poolside Bel-Aire Backyard. Meanwhile, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants will introduce Summer House with a California-inspired menu.

For those looking to host large gatherings, Durango offers 20,000 square feet of meeting space, complete with a grand ballroom, breakout rooms, and an event lawn.

Efficient guest service has been a top priority for the company from the outset, aiming to create a sense of familiarity for locals and make a strong first impression on tourists.

The Durango Casino & Resort is poised to make a significant impact on the Southern Nevada entertainment scene, offering an array of amenities and experiences that are bound to leave visitors in awe.
