In a city known for its ever-evolving skyline, the Las Vegas Strip has seen countless projects announced, but not all come to fruition. Among these ambitious endeavors, one has defied the odds and is finally set to open its doors after two decades of anticipation.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a resort casino project that has experienced multiple ownership changes and periods of abandonment, has revealed its long-awaited opening date. Situated across from the recently opened Resorts World Las Vegas on the North Strip, Fontainebleau aims to elevate this part of the iconic road to the same status as its bustling southern and central counterparts.

With an opening slated for December, Fontainebleau Las Vegas promises to seamlessly blend the past, present, and future. This 67-story behemoth, the tallest inhabitable structure in Nevada, represents the western expansion of the iconic Fontainebleau brand. The resort boasts 3,644 rooms and suites exuding timeless elegance and luxury, unique to the Las Vegas experience.

In an effort to offer a diverse culinary experience, Fontainebleau Las Vegas will introduce 36 first-to-market restaurant concepts from around the world, opening gradually throughout 2023 and 2024. This collection includes ten of the Top 100 grossing restaurants in the United States, featuring award-winning chefs like Gabriela Cámara, Michelin-starred chefs Masa Ito and Kevin Kim, Alan Yau, Evan Funke, David Grutman, and more. Reservations are already available for the grand opening on December 14.

Beyond the dining options, the resort will feature a 14,000-square-foot fitness center, a 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa, and a 96,500-square-foot luxury boutique retail district. Additionally, it will offer a six-acre pool district, 550,000 square feet of customizable indoor-outdoor meeting space, 150,000 square feet of gaming space, and the upcoming LIV and LIV Beach experiences.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas marks a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of the North Las Vegas Strip, breathing new life into an area once dominated by a few iconic establishments. As it opens its doors, this resort casino represents not only the culmination of years of effort but also a new chapter in the vibrant history of Las Vegas.
