ACR Poker, the leading online poker operator formerly known as Americas Cardroom, has released details of its exciting Venom Fever promotion. On Wednesday, the poker operator revealed details of a series of Venom Fever satellites that give players a chance to earn a seat in the upcoming $5 million Venom PKO tournament. The event is known as the largest progressive knockout tournament in the world and is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2023.
In total, the Venom Fever promotion guarantees 633 seats into the upcoming $5 million Venom PKO tournament. The standard price for each seat is $2,650, but thanks to a series of satellites, players can get a seat for a fraction of that cost. According to ACR Poker, the Venom Fever satellite series will begin on Sunday, October 8, 2023 and will run until Sunday, October 29, 2023.
A total of 358 seats are guaranteed through Venom Fever direct satellites, which start at around $33. Moreover, seven megasatellites guarantee an additional 235 seats. Players eligible to play Megas can do so for free or at a very low cost by “following the daily path,” explains ACR Poker. As for the remaining 40 seats, they are guaranteed through the Beast Satellite, which is scheduled for the period from October 15 to October 22, 2023.
Satellites provide an extremely cost-effective method of protecting Venom locations.ACR professional Chris Moneymaker commented on this topic in a recent statement. He explained that ACR brought back the popular Venom Fever satellites because they offer players a cheap way to secure a spot in the popular Venom tournament. The Venom Fever promotion gives players a unique chance to earn a spot “without having to worry too much,” he said. In addition to Venom Fever, Moneymaker revealed that Step Tournaments and Venom Blitz satellites also give players the chance to earn a spot in the $5 million buy-in Venom PKO.

Earlier this year, ACR Poker banned the use of remote viewing software and virtual machines. The change, announced this summer, tightened the rules of online play as part of a security update aimed at combating attempts to gain an unfair advantage.
