The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending champions and are determined to keep the Lombardi Trophy in their possession for another year. Judging by their form at the start of the 2023 NFL season, Andy Reid's men have every right to feel optimistic - they are now 4-1!
Quite the opposite when it comes to their next opponents, the Denver Broncos, who are 1-4 ahead of Week 6. These guys played terrible defense, allowing 181 points in five games. That's what makes them dread the trip to Kansas City to face one of the best offensive teams in the NFL.

The Denver Broncos are praying they don't embarrass themselves against Arrowhead. The Denver Broncos simply don't have a chance to beat the Kansas City Chiefs at this point.
They haven't done that since 2015, two years before the Patrick Mahomes era began at Kansas. Additionally, their recent form has been abysmal, especially when it comes to defending. They are the team that allows the most points in the entire league, averaging 36.5 points per game.
Of course, the reason is that they were destroyed by the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 when we saw them give up 70 points. But even without this humiliating defeat, their defense is still very disappointing.
The good news for them is that their crime is okay. Quarterback Russell Wilson has been much better in 2023 than he was last year, leading the Broncos to now allow 24.2 points per game. That's almost as good as the Chiefs (25.6).
Kansas City Chiefs will continue their winning streakThe Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Detroit Lions in Week 1, which came as a shock to most people since the game was played at Arrowhead. We weren't too surprised, however, because the Chiefs were without Travis Kelce and many other key players in that game.
Since Kelce & Co. came back, everything went differently. After losing in the first week, the winners of Super Bowl LVII are 4–0. True, they played against, to put it mildly, mediocre teams - the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings.
Their schedule isn't going to get ugly anytime soon. This Thursday they will take on one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2023. After that, they will have ten days to prepare for the game against the Los Angeles Chargers. In practice, this means they have the luxury of going all-in in the Week 6 TNF game.
Prediction for the match between Denver Broncos and Kansas City ChiefsThe Kansas City Chiefs are preparing a real spectacle for their fans in the TNF game. They know the Broncos are vulnerable on defense and they're going to take advantage of it. With Mahomes, Kelce and the rest in great shape, the Chiefs are poised to play their best home game in the 2023 season. The last time they played Arrowhead they scored 41 points. This time we think they can go even higher.
