French-Canadian online streamer who began his career as a professional Overwatch player, Félix Lengyel, who you may know as xQc (ex xQcOW), made a statement that has caused a lot of heated conversations in the streaming community.

The Twitch and Kick streamer said he plans to give up gambling after sharing a link with his online community showing off a massive $5 million winnings on Stake.com. xQc went into his offline chat to make an announcement
Last September, Twitch announced a major update to its policies aimed at prohibiting content creators from broadcasting content from gaming sites featuring roulette, slot machines, and craps games that are not licensed in the United States and other gaming markets with consumer protections. .

Before the controversial ban was imposed, xQc had become one of the top "gamba" (gambling) streamers. After the streaming platform made a major announcement, xQc decided to move its gaming content to Kick, a direct competitor to Twitch that launched on October 18, 2022.

So Juicer, who streamed almost daily on Twitch, resumed her game. His debut gaming stream on Kick ended with an impressive winnings of over $553,000.

Now xQc has announced that he will put an end to his online gambling habits after winning an impressive $5 million in an online game. The news follows the streamer's $1.1 million gambling loss in Las Vegas.

xQc used his offline chat to share a screenshot showing the colossal winnings on Stake.com, as well as inform his viewers and followers that he had already cashed out and would no longer be gambling.

$1.5 billion in bets
In September 2023, the streamer also openly shared statistics with viewers on the Stake.com platform, proving that he made at least 788,877 bets there. Of these bets, xQc won 76,398. The remaining bets were losers.

The French-Canadian streamer and online personality also highlighted the fact that his bets have surpassed the $1.5 billion mark.

It remains to be seen whether xQc will actually give up gambling, as the streamer does not always reveal the whole truth to his community.

In the spring of 2022, xQc spoke openly about his gaming addiction on Twitch, explaining that he feels forced to take unnecessary risks in every game he plays, and also stated that he "can afford to get sick."

Last month, Stake.com announced that a cyberattack affected its ETH/BSC hot wallets, resulting in losses of $41 million.
