KSA's investigation into Blue High House began back in December 2021, revealing critical compliance issues. Investigators could easily create player accounts, make deposits, and place bets without any preventative measures in place. Blue High House allowed users to register with their Dutch information, automatically selecting the Netherlands as their location, even filling in the Dutch country code for phone numbers.

Fast forward to August 2023, and the situation remained unchanged. Betting from a Dutch IP address was still possible, with web traffic data revealing a staggering 136,569 site visits between May 2022 and May 2023. Given these persistent violations, KSA had no choice but to order Blue High House to cease unlicensed gambling activities, a directive that the operator chose not to contest.

This development comes on the heels of another significant KSA decision, wherein Sonofslots.com-operator LCS Limited was slapped with a €2.1 million fine for unlicensed gambling. LCS Limited has opted to dispute the decision, accusing KSA of carelessness in compiling its report and denouncing the excessively punitive fine. They have vowed to launch a vigorous appeal and clarified that recent media reports suggesting their return to the Netherlands were inaccurate.
