In a surprising move, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority disclosed that Carol Anderson, their CFO, will not be renewing her employment contract, set to conclude on the 31st of March next year. This announcement has prompted Mohegan to initiate the search for a new CFO. The company has assured stakeholders that more information regarding this transition will be made available in the coming weeks.
Anderson assumed her role as CFO at Mohegan in March 2021, bringing her extensive experience to the position. Her previous roles include serving as the Senior Vice President for Treasury, Capital Markets, and Associate General Counsel at Scientific Games. Her career also encompasses work at esteemed firms like Latham & Watkins, Lehman Brothers, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Explaining her decision, Anderson stated, "While this is a very difficult decision, it is important that I redirect focus on personal and family commitments upon the conclusion of my employment contract. I am grateful for the tremendous opportunity to serve the Mohegan organization. I remain committed to contributing to a smooth and successful transition."
