Raising the Global AML Standards

In a collaborative effort to elevate anti-money laundering (AML) prevention and detection standards on a global scale, SG:certified and Crucial Compliance have joined forces. This ambitious project aims to utilize cutting-edge AML research and best practices from regulated jurisdictions to set new benchmarks for AML prevention and detection.

Bridging the Knowledge Gap

Notably, this initiative builds upon the successful work these two entities have previously undertaken to enhance AML practices within the gambling industry. Their joint effort seeks to bridge the knowledge gap between AML education and the practical execution of specialist workshops and training modules.

Incorporating AML Training

Crucial Compliance's AML training resources are now integrated into the SG:certified compliance dashboard. This addition is a significant step toward bolstering trust between operators and their customers, ensuring operational integrity, and combatting financial crimes within the gambling sector.

A Safer and More Sustainable Gambling Industry

Vanessa Simpson, the Communications Director of SG:certified, expressed their dedication to making the gambling industry safer and more sustainable through collaboration: "We are passionate about working collaboratively with others to make the gambling industry a safer and more sustainable place. Crucial Compliance is a company with a similar mission. It’s ideal for us to be working with them to create a training and assessment programme."

Adapting to Industry Dynamics

Sonia Wasowska, Regulatory Compliance Consultant at Crucial Compliance, emphasized the ever-changing nature of the industry and the need to adapt: "It’s exciting to work with SG:certified to develop an assessment and training programme that is fit for purpose to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry. Our teams are unified in our desire to foster a community of like-minded compliance and ESG professionals who rely on research and data to improve the delivery and execution of compliance, AML, and safer-gambling programs worldwide."
