PointsBet Canada, a prominent player in the world of sports betting and online casino, has announced a significant addition to its team. Sarah Hilton, who previously served as the director of business development at Ingenuity Gaming, is set to lead the casino division for PointsBet Canada.
Before joining PointsBet, Hilton showcased her expertise in the iGaming industry, holding key positions in various organizations. Her journey in the industry includes stints at Bally's Interactive as the director of iGaming product for North America and as the senior product manager for online casino at Bally's.
Hilton's roots in the Canadian gaming sector run deep, as she spent seven years with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, one of Canada's regional lottery bodies. During her tenure, she served as the slot and tables product manager for online casino and as a product specialist for online casino.
Aside from her extensive experience in the gaming industry, Hilton has also contributed her skills to companies like BuildDirect and Cowie and Fox.
Expressing her excitement, Hilton took to LinkedIn, saying, "It is with immense joy that I announce the beginning of my journey as the head of casino at PointsBet. I have dedicated myself to the Canadian iGaming industry for the past 10-plus years. I'm absolutely thrilled to align my passion with a company as influential as PointsBet Canada."
PointsBet Canada currently operates in Ontario, securing approval in the province in March last year, just ahead of the regulated market launch. They are active via the PointsBet.ca website, with their license set to run through to April 3, 2024.
