IGT Receives Renewed Responsible Gaming Certification from G4

IGT, a global leader in gaming technology, recently announced the renewal of its responsible gaming certification for two key divisions: Global Gaming and PlayDigital. The certification comes from the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4), an organization dedicated to minimizing the impact of problem gambling through a worldwide accreditation and certification program.

To maintain the certifications, IGT underwent an independent assessment of its industry standards. This process ensured that its divisions adhered to the player protection standards set by G4. The audit covered various aspects, including responsible gambling code of conduct, corporate standards, operational code of practice, training, player protection tools, staff and responsible gambling, staff and problem gambling, and player protection framework.

IGT's gaming operations initially received certification in 2017, followed by its digital solutions in 2019. In 2022, the company extended its responsible gaming accreditation to its sports betting business. This continuous recognition showcases IGT's unwavering commitment to responsible gambling and adherence to industry standards.
