In October, Louisiana witnessed an all-time high in sports betting handle, with players spending a record $308.6 million. Online sports betting accounted for $276.2 million of this total, while retail sportsbooks saw $32.4 million in bets. The gross revenue soared by 63.5% year-on-year, reaching a record $43.3 million. Online gross revenue stood at $40.1 million, with an additional $4.4 million from retail betting.
