BIG EAST Conference and US Integrity Forge Groundbreaking Partnership

The BIG EAST Conference, comprising 11 prestigious colleges and universities, has entered into a comprehensive alliance with US Integrity. This strategic partnership aims to fortify the integrity of sports events by leveraging cutting-edge monitoring software and tools provided by US Integrity.

BIG EAST Conference officials will benefit from exclusive access to a dashboard featuring regular monitoring reports and industry insights derived from US Integrity's in-depth analysis of wagering activity. This collaboration goes beyond mere surveillance, incorporating education as a crucial component.

US Integrity is not only providing surveillance tools but is also committed to offering extensive educational resources to BIG EAST Conference student-athletes, coaches, staff, and officials. This educational initiative is vital in raising awareness about the evolving landscape of sports wagering.

Val Ackerman, the BIG EAST Commissioner, emphasized the importance of the alliance in protecting competition integrity. Matthew Holt, CEO and co-founder of US Integrity, highlighted the significance of integrity measures and real-time tracking tools, especially in the context of expanding sports betting jurisdictions.

The collaboration comes at a crucial time as college sports face challenges, exemplified by sports betting scandals. In August, Iowa witnessed charges against seven former and current athletes following a sports betting investigation. Simultaneously, the NCAA revised guidelines for student-athletes involved in gambling on college sports, introducing a one-season suspension and a loss of one year of eligibility for those betting on teams at their school.
