The AGA, a prominent entity in the gaming industry, has elected Michael Rumbolz as its new chairman. Rumbolz, currently the executive chair of Everi Holdings’ board, brings a wealth of experience, having climbed the ranks "from a busboy to the c-suite." His extensive career spans gaming equipment manufacturing, casino operations, financial technology, iGaming, and compliance. Notable roles include CEO of Everi Holdings, chair of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and chief deputy attorney general of Nevada.

Rumbolz's predecessor, Jim Allen, played a crucial role in the industry's post-COVID recovery and the fight against illegal gambling. Rumbolz now assumes the responsibility of maintaining this momentum and reinforcing the industry's progress. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Rumbolz pledged to leverage his position to shape the future of gaming.

AGA President and CEO, Bill Miller, welcomed Rumbolz, hailing him as an "industry legend." Miller believes Rumbolz's diverse career as an operator, manufacturer, and regulator equips him with the skills needed to drive meaningful progress on industry priorities. Miller also thanked Allen for his exceptional service, describing him as a "trusted advisor."

In his departure statement, Allen expressed confidence in the AGA's future under Miller and Rumbolz's leadership. He emphasized the industry's strength and the association's success in accelerating gaming's recovery while advancing new priorities over the last two years.
