Breaking Ground in Tribal Gaming
In a groundbreaking deal between the tribal gaming operator Anaxi and Aristocrat, a new Mobile on-Premise solution has been introduced. This innovation allows casino enthusiasts on trust lands to access Aristocrat Class II gaming machines through their mobile devices. This move is considered a prelude to the broader realm of online casino gambling, with the current implementation being somewhat limited and requiring tailored geofencing for success.
Anaxi's Vision for iGaming
Anaxi, operating under the Aristocrat umbrella, has long been a digital products provider with a focus on expanding iGaming presence. The company aims not only to enhance its iGaming footprint but also to synergize with existing physical businesses associated with Aristocrat. Josh Morris, Anaxi's SVP of iGaming Product & Technology, emphasized the groundbreaking nature of this partnership, envisioning it as a driving force for both the company and the industry. The Mobile on-Premise solution is hailed as a forward-thinking experience, elevating the gambling venture at tribal gaming operators.
Pioneering Partnership at WinStar World Casino
The partnership specifically benefits the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma, the world's largest casino resort property. Through this collaboration, Class II games are introduced, and the aim is to ensure ongoing freshness in content through Anaxi's platform. Chickasaw Nation Secretary of Commerce Dan Boren expressed excitement about the approval granted last year for alternate technical standards by the National Indian Gaming, making Class II mobile gaming possible.
Mobile Gaming as the Future
Boren highlighted the significance of mobile gaming in shaping the future of the industry. Introducing it to WinStar is seen as the initial step in what is hoped to be a long and prosperous partnership with the innovative gaming operator. Anaxi has been actively expanding its partnership portfolio, recently teaming up with PENN Interactive, Caesars, and FanDuel, solidifying its position in the North American market.
