A Star-Studded Affair

The long-awaited Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a $3.7 billion project, has finally become a reality. The 67-story casino resort, which boasts 3,644 hotel rooms, 36 bars and restaurants, 1,300 slots, and 128 table games, welcomed its first guests on December 13, 2023. It was a star-studded affair with celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Tom Brady, and many others gracing the event.

A Decade in the Making

The journey to opening Fontainebleau Las Vegas was not without its challenges. Construction began in 2007 but came to a halt due to the Great Recession, leaving the project 70% completed. It changed ownership several times until its original developer, Jeffery Soffer, took control in 2021 and brought it to fruition.

A Symbol of Luxury Hospitality

Fontainebleau Las Vegas signals a new era of luxury hospitality on the Strip. With its towering presence, it stands as the tallest occupiable building in Nevada. The resort's grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with Fontainebleau Development Chairman Jeffrey Soffer leading the celebration.

Honors and Recognition

The resort's significance was further emphasized as December 13 was declared "Fontainebleau Las Vegas Day," and Fontainebleau Development received various honors, including a Key to the Strip and recognition from political leaders.

An Unforgettable Evening

The grand opening evening was filled with surprises and entertainment. Keith Urban serenaded guests at Bleau Bar, while Paul Anka performed an original rendition of "My Way." The highlight of the night was Justin Timberlake's electrifying performance.

A New Chapter Begins

As Fontainebleau Las Vegas opened its doors to the public, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in Las Vegas' hospitality landscape, promising a blend of luxury, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences.
