In a significant move, iGP has appointed Dirk Camilleri as its chief product officer, a decision that is generating considerable buzz in the industry. Camilleri, an experienced figure in the gambling sector, is set to lead iGP's product team, with a primary focus on shaping a roadmap that aligns with market trends and corporate objectives while also refining iGP's product portfolio.
Camilleri brings over eight years of valuable experience in the gambling industry to his new role, having most recently served as the vice-president of product at Pariplay for 11 months until December 2023. Before that, he held positions at Green Jade Games, where he started as the head of product and later assumed the role of chief product and technology officer.
Camilleri's extensive career also includes stints as the head of casino at Global Gaming Group and head of gaming product at Jackpotjoy Group, along with serving as the platform product owner for gaming at Betsson Group. Prior to entering the industry, he worked as a solutions architect at Vodafone.
Camilleri's appointment marks the beginning of a series of new hires planned by iGP in 2024, following the company's rebrand last summer. Giovanni Paticchio, iGP's CEO, expressed his excitement about Camilleri's appointment and its potential impact on the company's growth prospects, emphasizing their dedication to delivering superior products and services to clients and customers alike.
With Dirk Camilleri at the helm, iGP aims to solidify its position as a top player in the igaming technology solutions market, promising exciting developments in the coming year.
