A Stronger Stand Against Human Trafficking

Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming have once again joined forces in their fight against human trafficking. Their dedication to eradicating this heinous crime has led them to introduce new tools and programs aimed at making a real impact.

Innovative Initiatives in 2024

In 2024, the partnership between Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming will bring forth several innovative initiatives designed to combat human trafficking. One of these initiatives is the Twentyfour-Seven QR Code program, a unique tool that not only provides support to victims but also deters traffickers from targeting individuals on member properties. This program will be implemented globally across 44 hotels and casinos in 13 countries.

Youth Education and Awareness

Another crucial aspect of their efforts involves expanding youth education in classrooms, particularly in Mexico. Students will be taught to recognize red flags and avoid online luring, thanks to educational content developed in partnership with experts from organizations like PACT, ECPAT-Mexico, and EduNetwork Partners.

Community Partnerships and Fundraising

Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming are also committed to supporting community partners in their fight against human trafficking. The Change for Change program allows visitors to donate spare change to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, with 100% of the funds benefiting organizations like PACT and Twentyfour-Seven.

Empowering Youth Through Employment

Additionally, the Youth Employment Program aims to help young people escape the clutches of trafficking by providing them with career opportunities in the hospitality industry. Partnerships with organizations like Covenant House New York City and FLITE Center are instrumental in this endeavor.

Raising Industry Standards

Lastly, Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming are striving to set a new standard for training in the gaming industry. They are partnering with the American Gaming Association’s Anti-Human Trafficking Risk Force to equip their employees with the skills to recognize and combat human trafficking effectively.
