EveryMatrix, a prominent player in the gaming industry, has unveiled its decision to appoint Stian Hornsletten as the CEO of its games division. Hornsletten, who has been an integral part of EveryMatrix's journey, will be entrusted with the responsibility of elevating the games division's performance and expanding its network of content partnerships.
Hornsletten's association with EveryMatrix dates back to its inception in 2008 when he served as the CEO. Over the years, he held crucial positions such as executive chairman and executive director before assuming the role of chief commercial officer in November 2019. His extensive experience and dedication have been instrumental in shaping EveryMatrix's success.
Before his tenure with EveryMatrix, Hornsletten co-founded BetonBet in January 2001, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and deep-rooted connections within the gaming industry.
EveryMatrix's Group CEO, Ebbe Groes, expressed his gratitude, stating, "If it wasn't for Stian, there would not be an EveryMatrix, and I'll be forever grateful to him for asking me to join him for a drink to discuss the idea of starting this business together 15 years ago. He wanted to take on a new challenge within the business to grow our games offering."
Groes added, "I'm certain he will immediately take it to another level, bringing enormous energy, innovation, and passion to the team." The company also revealed that a new chief operating officer (COO) will be announced shortly, further solidifying its leadership team.
In another strategic move, EveryMatrix has appointed Nikolina Gabelica as the head of lottery. Gabelica brings over two decades of experience, primarily from her time at the Croatian Lottery, where she served in various capacities, including director of the business development and marketing division.
Gabelica expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "My 20-plus years of lottery and gaming experience fits perfectly with EveryMatrix, offering a diverse perspective that I will use to focus on strategies for both existing and new WLA member organisations and lottery clients."
She added, "EveryMatrix's modular, API-driven solutions are ideal for global lotteries looking to launch or expand their digital presence, and I'm looking forward to meeting customers at ICE 2024."
These appointments reflect EveryMatrix's commitment to enhancing its gaming and lottery divisions, positioning the company for future growth and innovation in the dynamic world of gaming.
