Egamingmonitor, a prominent player in the world of data analytics, has made a groundbreaking announcement regarding its latest offering. On January 23, 2024, Egamingmonitor introduced its highly anticipated lottery-focused data product, heralding a significant advancement for the gaming and technology sectors.

Unlocking Unprecedented Insights

This revolutionary product will empower lottery operators and suppliers with exclusive access to player and stake data through user-friendly dashboards. The primary objective is to provide unparalleled visibility into market dynamics, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Stakeholders can now monitor market share fluctuations across multi-lottery products, including popular ones like Eurojackpot and Powerball. This newfound capability will facilitate the observation of industry practices, such as adjustments to jackpot sizes and ball configurations.

Kevin Dale, CEO of Egamingmonitor, Weighs In

Kevin Dale, Chief Executive of Egamingmonitor, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, "Last year, we launched our bingo product, and the year before that, it was casino. This year, it's the turn of the lottery: the oldest and largest gaming sector." He further emphasized the significance of this product, as it allows the tracking of draw product sales on a global scale, generating interactive reports for both lottery operators and suppliers.

Dale added, "Operators can now compare performance to their peers across borders, gaining valuable insights into what products, features, or reconfigurations seem to pay off. Better decisions lead to higher revenues, which, ultimately, means more money handed over to good causes worldwide too."

Spotting Key Trends

Egamingmonitor's new product has already made waves by identifying critical trends from 2023. The analysis included per capita sales of multi-state draw products and variations in the appeal of increased jackpot sizes across different regions.

The data highlights that per capita ticket sales of multistate draw products are highest in New York, with Ontario and Portugal also ranking among the top performers. Notably, the product revealed stark differences between Delaware and Spain in terms of the ratio of ticket sales to jackpot size.

Furthermore, the product sheds light on the top operators in terms of upselling, with the Austrian lottery leading the pack with over €100 in per capita sales of upsell products. Finnish state-owned Veikkaus and the Caribbean Lottery rank second and third, with €36.75 and €36.63 per capita sales respectively.

Egamingmonitor also unveiled changes in the share of Eurojackpot sales by operators, with Szerencsejatek, a Hungarian provider, experiencing a 0.48% increase in share, while Danskespil saw a 0.53% drop. With these valuable insights, Egamingmonitor's new product promises to be a game-changer in the gaming industry, paving the way for informed decisions and increased success for all stakeholders.
