Scientific Games, in collaboration with Allwyn, is gearing up to ensure a smooth transition for the UK National Lottery following Allwyn's takeover. With the fourth license now in effect, Scientific Games has revealed its strategically planned milestones to support Allwyn in this exciting venture.

One significant step is the establishment of a new scratchcard logistics facility in the UK, based in Warrington. This facility, equipped with Scientific Games' SciTrak system, will serve as a hub for National Lottery retailers, streamlining the ordering and sorting of scratchcards.

Scientific Games is also committed to upgrading the National Lottery's technology by implementing its 'Symhony' enterprise gaming system across more than 40,000 retail terminals. Moreover, they will introduce a new digital platform and a range of instant win games, developed in partnership with SG Studios and global partner studios through the SG Content Hub and Partner Programme.

Michael Conforti, President of International and Strategic Accounts at Scientific Games, praised Allwyn's vision for growing the National Lottery while emphasizing their close partnership. Allwyn UK CEO Andria Vidler shared the operator's ambition to offer more games, attract more players, and raise more funds for National Lottery-funded projects.

Additionally, the Gambling Commission revealed new initiatives for the National Lottery, including an Incentive Mechanism aimed at increasing returns to good causes. This marks a significant step towards ensuring that more of every pound spent on the National Lottery benefits good causes while maintaining a safe and enjoyable gaming experience.
