Mikolaj Cymerman Takes Dual Role as CCO of Entain CEE and STS Advisory

Mikolaj Cymerman, with a strong background in corporate development, has stepped into a dual role as Chief Commercial Officer of Entain CEE and an advisory position with STS Holdings. This appointment comes as Entain continues its expansion in the Central and Eastern European market.
Cymerman, who had previously held the position of business development manager and commercial manager at Entain, expressed his excitement about his new responsibilities. He stated, "It's been a busy and exciting start to the year, and I'm pumped to announce double news. Can't wait to keep the momentum going with STS and the SuperSport team."
Entain's expansion in the CEE region gained momentum with the acquisition of STS Holdings in August 2023, in a deal worth £750 million. As part of this acquisition, several management changes were recently announced at STS, including Radim Haluza becoming CEO and Mateusz Juroszek taking on the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Entain CEE, established in 2022, plays a pivotal role in making acquisitions across the region. Entain holds a 75% stake in Entain CEE, while Emma Capital owns the remaining 25%. This move followed Entain's acquisition of a 75% stake in Croatia's SuperSport for €690 million in August 2022, highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its presence in the CEE region.
Cymerman's dual role signifies Entain's dedication to strengthening its foothold in Central and Eastern Europe, with further acquisitions on the horizon.
