New Jersey Regulator Clears Evolution of Misconduct Allegations

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has officially closed the case against Evolution, a leading gaming provider, following allegations of misconduct. After thorough scrutiny, the NJDGE announced it would not pursue any action against Evolution regarding the accusations brought forth.

The allegations, stemming from November 2021, suggested that Evolution's products were accessible in regions under US trade sanctions. Evolution vehemently denied these claims, attributing them to an anonymous third party attempting to undermine the company's reputation. Despite the allegations causing a significant drop in Evolution's market value, the NJDGE found no substantial evidence to support the claims.

In response to the investigation, Evolution reiterated its commitment to regulatory compliance. The company affirmed its cooperation with regulators and operators to prevent access to its services from restricted jurisdictions. Evolution also took the opportunity to enhance its compliance processes further, in alignment with the NJDGE's recommendations.

Evolution's CEO and chief financial officer are named as defendants in the case, which covers a period from February 14, 2019, to October 25, 2023.
