The circle of contenders for the title of world
poker champion has been reduced to 49 players. As a reminder, this year's WSOP
Main Event became a record tournament in the history of the World Series of
Poker, having gathered more than 10,000 participants.
Unfortunately, on the 6th day the Ukrainian Artem
Metalidi took off. The Kyivan took 94th place, receiving a payout of $78,900.
Bogdan Slivinsky, Alexander Gnatenko, Alexey Evchenko, Alexander Dovzhenko,
Stanislav Galatenko, Igor Kotik and Denis Shafikov finished earlier in the ITM
zone.
All remaining participants in the WSOP Main Event
will once again gather at the tables today for Day7. Leading the tournament is
23-year-old Joshua Payne, who has just $28,000 in career prize money. The
second is Spaniard Juan Lapido.
Ukrainian Ruslan Prydryk takes 17th place in the
chip count. He could have been knocked out of the tournament much earlier, but
managed to win queen-to-king with a one-card flush. Yaroslav Ogulchansky
started the day with a short stack and managed to almost triple by the end of
the day. He will continue the game with a stack of 13 big blinds.
